Director of Consultation
The Director of Consultation reports directly to the Executive Director and has the ultimate accountability for ensuring that high quality consultation services are provided to clients. In order to accomplish this, (s)he ensures organization-wide quality ABA consultation; effectively leads and manages his/her team; and ensures proper management of client, school, and parent relationships. Social Skills Group Leader
Job description: Group Leaders are responsible for creating lesson plans from the ALC curriculum, making materials, running social skills groups, data-collection and display, and parent communication (including progress reports). Applicants must: have wonderful social skills, along with at least 3 years of supervised ABA experience and 1 year of classroom experience.
Social Skills Group Assistant
Group Assistants are directly supervised by an ALC Group Leader and are responsible for securing a safe and comfortable learning environment for the children, providing praise to children, easing transitions, maintaining a neat and organized group room throughout the session, and following lesson plans and curricula written by supervisors. Applicants must: be fun, kid-loving, intelligent, and detail oriented, with a drive to learn and excel.
ABA Instructor
Job description: Instructors are responsible for safe, effective, and efficient 1:1 instruction in a student’s home or school and must follow individualized curricula, collect accurate data, and communicate progress with supervisors, parents, and other team members. Applicants must: be fun, kid-loving, intelligent, and detail oriented, with a drive to learn and excel.
Program Manager
Job description: Program Managers provide ABA instruction, as well as assist consultants by doing procedural integrity and IOA checks with other instructors, and receive training and experience in curriculum development, data analysis, and problem-solving. Applicants must: have superior people-skills, 3-5 years of experience doing 1:1 ABA instruction, stellar references from former supervisors and parents, and great organizational skills. BCBA or BCABA preferred.
ABA Consultant
Job description: Consultants oversee ABA programs, help school districts set up ABA classrooms, and assist non-ABA classrooms with the successful integration of students with special needs. Applicants must: be a Master’s or Ph.D. level BCBA, have experience with a wide range of students (age, diagnosis, functioning-level), have excellent supervisory skills, and be a masterful collaborator.
